Playlist Thursday: Bringing Sexy Back, Yo!

Yay!  It's Playlist Thursday!  This weeks theme is Bringing Sexy Back.  Of course when Brian posted this as the topic, I couldn't get that Justin Timberlake song out of my head.  This is a chance for you to share the sexy songs on your playlist.

The "rules" of Playlist Thursday:

Something Old: These will be songs that are at least 5 years old.
Something Current: These will be songs that have been released within the past year.
Something to Consider: These will be songs that are not typically heard on the radio and may be by artists you’ve never heard of or considered running to. This is the wild card category, can be old or current.

Something Old
Artist: Kylie Minogue
Title: Can't Get You Outta My Head
Side Note:  Oozes sexy with a catchy beat.  And the video has Kylie doing her best come hither eyes.  Not to mention that daring white ensemble she is sporting.  Oooh la la.
Quotable:  "I just can't get you outta my head, boy your lovin' is all I think about".

Something New
Artist: The Black Keys
Title: Money Maker
Side Note:  Two words:  Strip Tease.  Pole dancing.  Enough said.
Quotable:  "Oh, she wants milk and honey, Oh, she wants filthy money But oh, that's not the way it goes, I wanna buy some time but don't have a dime"

Something To Consider
Artist: The Arctic Monkeys
Title: 505
Side Note:  The slow twangy, almost haunting guitar gets me every time.
Quotable:  "In my imagination you're waiting lying on your side, with your hands between your thighs."

I've got an honorable mention this week as well.  Another one from the Black Keys.  Super sexy song and a great running tune to boot.

Honorable Mention

Artist: The Black Keys
Title: Howlin' For You
Side Note:  The title says it all.  And the video...ha.  As tongue and cheek as it is, it's still pretty sexy.
Quotable:  "I must admit, I can't explain, any of these thoughts racing through my brain."

Are you feeling sexy yet?

Love that your songs are not typical. It's always great to find new music to run to. I've heard of the bands, but never really thought of adding it to the mix. A NEW sexy has been brought, yo!

And yes, Kylie is fab!

He, he, thanks Brian! If there's one thing I definitely have, it's very eclectic taste in music!
