Island Tri is a good one as the water is quite nice where the swim takes place (Hanlan's Point) unless of course it's a windy day then it can be kinda choppy. But, if you practice open water swimming, that will be a piece of cake for you. I also suggest that you try to you get yourself a wetsuit! Swim & Sport in Mississauga rents them as does Endurosport in Leaside.Phaedra Kennedyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10348700813435281507noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1137172801546792811.post-18859328403708880242011-06-09T15:47:46.346-04:002011-06-09T15:47:46.346-04:00Thanks for the intro article!

But I've been pressured by a few friends to Try a Tri :D - gasp! I'll be doing the Islands one on Aug. 27 - and my biggest fear is drowning before I even get a crack at the dreaded bike section :P --> will be hunting for more training tips, but getting comfy in the lake will def. be a priority!

And you. YOU ARE IRONMAN!! You'll kick ass.aggosst!https://www.blogger.com/profile/00149539244404266363noreply@blogger.com
